Common Financial Questions Answered

Find answers to frequently asked questions about short-term loans, budgeting, saving, and financial management.

We provide quick and affordable loans to individuals and businesses in Eswatini. Our services include personal loans, business loans, asset finance, emergency loans, and start-up support.

As an individual, you can borrow up to 30% of your monthly net salary, from E500 up to E50,000, depending on your income and affordability.

• Short Term Loans: E500 – E4,000, at 20% monthly interest, repayable up to 4 months.
• Medium Term Loans: E4,001 – E8,000, at 15% monthly interest, repayable up to 8 months.
• Extended Term Loans: Above E8,000, at 10% monthly interest, repayable up to 12 months.
• Payroll Deduction Loans: E500 – E50,000, at 5% monthly interest, repayable up to 36 months (for permanent employees with at least 6 months of service).

• Asset Finance: 10% monthly interest (you contribute at least 20% of the asset cost).
• Stock/Inventory Loans: 20% monthly interest.
• Emergency Business Loans: 20% monthly interest.
• Start-Up Capital: Interest-free, but we may take an equity stake in your business.

For individuals:
• Eswatini ID copy
• Proof of residence (EEC slip or water bill)
• Latest pay slip
• Last 3 months’ bank statements
• ITC (credit check) report – Milestone Finance will arrange this for E50

For businesses:
• Trading license
• Proof of residence for directors
• Six months’ bank statements
• Audited financials and latest tax return
• ITC reports for each director
• ID documents and Form C for directors

Once your documents are complete and you pass our checks, we can process, approve, and disburse your loan in as little as 6 working hours.

Interest is calculated daily on your outstanding balance, but you are only billed once per month.
👉 This means if you pay early, your total interest is reduced.

• Repayments are due by the 30th of each month or on your agreed date.
• Instalments cover interest, service fees, and principal.
• Payments are done electronically (bank transfer, mobile money, or e-wallet). We don’t handle cash for security reasons.

• Interest will continue to add up.
• You may be charged collection or legal fees.
• After 3 months, your account may be handed to debt collectors.
• After 3 months, you may be reported to the credit bureau (blacklisting).
• Assets may be repossessed.
